Capetonians allowed to view the stunning West Coast flowers on self-drive
The West Coast National Park is about to put on a breathtaking show of nature as the annual blooms start to flower and tourists are welcome to view them.
West Coast, South Africa (14 August 2020) – The Western Cape is blessed with some incredible fauna and flora which makes visiting their national parks, a proper treat. Recently the West Coast National Park shared a release that they will be open for the 2020 flower season.
Anyone who has had the chance to witness the flowers in bloom will tell you how magical it is to see bright colours for as far as the eyes can see.
The park is opening the Postberg section of the park to self-drive visitors. You will not be able to use any of the picnic or braai facilities and the hiking trails are still closed but the self-drive is a nice way to get out the house and see something beautiful for the day.
